the connaître sense is to know it personally. Like, I, you and I would know each other in the connaître sense. But I would know that you're a podcast or a Greek American podcast, or that's a savoir sense. And religion is primarily about connaître, knowing God in the connaître sense. Marshall McLuhan, the great Marshall McLuhan, many people don't know that he was a faithful, daily mask going Catholic, you know, this great media theorist, he said that this speaks to what we were just discussing. He said there are two ways of understanding truth, truth as percept and truth as concept. It's right brain, left brain. He said that people forget, academics especially, forget that religion is primarily percept.
