the Usenet server that you are posting to. And for that, you'd have to know what news groups exist, or you'd have to have permission, I guess, to create your own. But I mean, in theory, you'd have a list maybe because you've registered and maybe you've logged on to the server and you've looked at what news groups are available. So maybe you're doing an alt.test.group news group. Then you would alt.test.group would be the news group, and then dash z for the port number that you want to go to when you're sending the information. And again, that would have been given to you during registration, probably. They would have told you, here's what ports we run on. It could be, there are likely different ports for different, you know, whether you're using SSL or whether you're just posting in the clear. So let's just call it 443 or something. And then dash y is to use Yen code instead of UUN code. Yen code supposedly is kind of smaller and quicker and so on, so maybe you would want to use that. (26/55)
