And if you can do that in prison, being, having the hell beaten out of you by guards, then how much easier is it to do it in everyday life with your family, with your neighbors, with the people around you? The answer is it's hard. I struggle with this all the time. But this is why we must become perfected in love. And this is why when you believe that God is ultimately love, as I do as a Christian, you have to know that that love makes demands on you and those demands are often sacrificial. One more question before we move into the second hour rod, since we're talking about suffering, is suffering necessary in your view for spiritual growth? Absolutely.
