so. Yeah, there is. And the man page says that the program runs one or more performance tests and reports how fast an X server can execute the tests. So if you do X 11, yeah, X 11 perf, and then just choose something like here's get dash get image 100. Then it pops a window onto your screen that will surely get in your way and kind of annoy you. Upper left hand corner. It's got a nice little label at the bottom to tell you what test is being run. And depending on what test you've you've chosen, it might be a bunch of blinky lights, or it might be a bunch of lines drawing back and forth, or it might be just a grid rendered on your screen like it is right now for me. And then in your terminal, you'll see a report on how quickly it was able to do a repetition of the test. This was actually a pretty short test.
