It is the component of a sink, or it's a connection on the outside of your house maybe, in the back garden, where you hook up a hose and you turn on the tap so you can get water to water your veggie garden, or wash your hands, or wash your dishes, or whatever. So that's the faucet. So the faucet is going to be the source of data. And in order for the faucet to exist, you need to be running it on a computer. And this is considered the server. Now of course we know, you and I dear listener, we know that a server doesn't mean it's some big metal box in a big rack of other metal boxes off in a data farm somewhere. A server can be any computer that happens to be running faucet on your network. So on Alice's computer, we'll run Alice being a fictional character in this network. On Alice's computer, we're (3/55)
