Eeep... I've been away a bit from HIVE and only just managing to check in with writing about once or twice a week at the moment. In the past, it has been everyday... but it has been a weirdly busy start to the year... in a good way, the ensemble is taking off and that means that there is lots of organising and all of that to do before we get completely swamped...
... however, that has meant that I've been a bit too tired of being in front of a computer to find my peace and quiet to write.
... and as such, it meant that I have sort of missed the price of HIVE nosediving to about 7 cents! Ouch, that is quite a steep plummet, but by the looks of things... everything has plummeted across the board!
Ah well... I guess that is the time when all the tourists leave... and on HIVE, it means that it is the best time to get heads down in writing and earning... because all of those tokens that you are collecting by being active... well, they aren't worth crazily lots right now... but there will be a moment when they might be! And if fewer people are competing for the reward pool... then it is a good time to be earning slightly higher than expected tokens!
Of course, like all things in this slightly weird crypto ecosystem... it might also all go to nothing... but on the other hand, I would say that I have learnt so much in the skills of writing and all of that stuff, that the time that I have spent have definitely NOT been wasted at all! Even if HIVE collapses...
... and I think that, of all the crypto projects... HIVE is one of the less likely to evaporate to nothing. There are communities and writers here that have built up, and will post and interact regardless of the price... of course, the price does reduce the amount of people.. but there does always seem to be people around!
So, fingers crossed that everything bucks up at some point in the future... but for now, I have to get back into writing everyday again!

Only difference between magic internet money and "real" money is that more people think "real" money is "real" XD

It's definitely not as fun when things are like this, but it's also nice to kind of shore up and regroup and see who sticks around and actually kind of cares. I feel like we will see brighter days ahead. It might just take a bit.
