RE: Why The Metaverse Is Inevitable And What's Going On In Finance?

in LeoFinance4 years ago

I look at web3 and the metaverse as being the next honestly logical sense. This is because as you stated we have tapped out pretty much every physical aspect of our worlds. Until we start to get off planet and figure out how to make that cost effect. I see the metaverse as being the blend between the two. I don't think we are anywhere near where it's going to be full circle though. A lot more resources and time need to start being put into it and I don't truly see it happening for another 5 years. However that's actully awesome because it gives many of us who understand that the first in/ground floor access.

I think you're right about it taking a while to get to where we're going. In 2-3 years I think we'll have a mostly polished version of something where you can play a game, go to an office meeting, or see a show but it won't be so good that people will want to hang out for much longer than that takes.

As far as investing, I think anyone not investing in this is in danger of getting left behind. Early money is just going to grow so much faster than anything a person could invest in elsewhere. I actually worry that those not here might get left behind. The opportunity that we have if we pick even a few of the right investments is just crazy.

That said, when I tell people about this and explain why I feel like everyone needs to be investing in this, I usually end up just telling them to buy some bitcoin and forget they have it.
