It's good to see states starting to stand up to the government when they don't agree with something. That's what made the Untied states so damn great and powerful. We need to stop oppressive government oversight here in the USA. The Government needs to be put on check on multiple fronts.

I doubt it but they are in the right to make a stand. There's legit no reason why our boarders shouldn't be protected and for legal immigration to happen. It's legit so uncalled for and has been happening for far too long. If the governments not going to take a stand then a state is in the power to do so as they see fit.
The states created the federal government, not the other way around. Even in the case of states derived from territories, those territories had been part of other states. The states can put the federal government in its place by taking back some of its powers, or by imposing new restrictions on the federal government.
