I think it's a smart move for two core reasons.
LEO is a part of hive so a bulk of the community that interacts with it is from hive thus adding in tokens etc a majority are used to and have opens up possibilities for many. This is a great base layer to start at and can then be expanded upon.
Hive seriously lacks DeFi and liquidity capabilities right now. It's been this way for a long time but now finally there's a rather good solution and even if the DeFi platforms offers up a low fee swap type program into LEODex or even right into leobridge that could have massive fee collections for the LEO community.
I feel its a good base layer to start at and crush it and expand from there.

Hey, can I ask you a favor please, can you post a screenshot of that video for me? I'm having trouble with the player... it seems my browser fell in love with one video and wants to watch it forever.

It seems we are all having that issue. I delete the videos after loaded so it is a new one but, for some reason playing the same as the last one.
Need to check into it.
