From what I read it's using USDC but doesn't need to exactly tap into the Ethereum blockchain every time. There are better ways of doing it and Polkadot is on the right track of allowing it to process everything and then touch the Ethereum blockchain once for thousands of transactions. The biggest issue is so many of these Dapps where lazy developed and simply just hammer the blockchain with transaction after transaction for no reason.
The bank can do nothing if it does not keep up with the crypto world. Crypto is now beating them. They need to adjust according to today's situation. They are not always the ones to follow and they can turn people's minds to the point of getting into debt. Everything will be fair now, however, we still need fiat for goods in our own countries.

Banks are already making their moves and pretty much with the stable coins. They really risk nothing this way but become the system in which can now inject money into crypto in the form of USDC. Instead of printing money they could just "credit it" must lower cost, easier to track everything and easy to track where they money is going compared to paper money. Trust me they are smart they know what they are doing lol

I am not excited about it at all, because once the big corporations and/or the government gets involved in any way, sh%t goes; well sh%t.
I like reading your stuff and a few others, because your perspective at least gives me hope that we will have a way to shield ourselves, albeit maybe not a wide net; but enough to keep us viable and fortified against those who destroy everything with their greed and power hunger.
