Gold is old and the new generations of humans are increasingly becoming more digital. Look at the amazing performance of BTC compared to gold in recent years. The gold buys have been crying for doom and gloom for over 40 years and they are not getting their wish for gold to "take over". Nothing even close to it. It could end up a financial relic!
