The success of your e-book depends largely on the marketing because that is your means of reaching out to your audience. The reason why an eBook is being created is to reach out to the people that need it and the marketing helps you to reach out to your targeted audience.

What is your eBook all about? Is it an overall preview of helping someone out there? Of course the answer will always be yes and so to be able to reach out to your targeted audiences you might not want to do the organic process since it doesn't work for a beginner.

Wanting to grow organically can slow your process of growth because we live in a world where technology advancement is being appreciated and you my dear friend will not want to miss out on taking an advantage of it.

Besides there are a whole lot of chances that you're going to reach out to so many people with promotion rather than wanting to grow organically these days. To this end, here are 4 materials you can use to promote your ebook.

1. Graphics

You would be needing beautiful designs for your book. Remember that yours is an e-book, so you need to put extra effort into coming up with creative designs to grab people's attention.

Put your book cover design in a mock-up, then design series of flyers with the mock-up. One flyer could do depending on how ruthless you want to be with your marketing.

2. Creative images

The fact that your book is in digital format does not mean you can't be creative with it. Did you see the images I created for my e-book, My First Digital Product? Now that's what it means to be creative.

If you don't have two phones, you could borrow a friend's phone for a moment. Send your ebook to the phone with poor camera quality. Open the book cover on the phone, then use the phone with better camera quality to snap.

You can do this in different backgrounds, depending on the message in your book. For example, My First Digital Product was more about how to make money pressing your phone, so some of the pictures had some naira notes in the background. Sends a message? Try it.

3. Substantial reviews

Send your book to 5 - 10 trusted persons, preferably industry experts or people slightly above you, ask them to read and give you an honest feedback.

If the reviews are good enough, document them alongside the person's name and title, and flaunt on your timeline. If the review isn't so good, it means you still need to work on your book.

4. Branded merchandise

You can print the title of your book on a shirt, cup, etc., and take beautiful pictures with them. These are just some of the materials you can use to promote your e-book. So now you see that you are not limited even though your book isn't in print. Now go and prepare for your book marketing. Is there any material you feel I didn't include?

nice topic especially when it comes to #marketing. Marketing your e-book is one of the most difficult task. I actually have an e-book related to #Hive so far I market it in this community and got noticed on #theterminal
