Well, HIVE/Splinterlands was my first foray into crypto. Surprisingly though, I'd count money out of my wallet into the system as good as ZERO.
I first started dabbling with all those free stuff like coinbase earn or signup this and that for that small bit to funnel into Splinterlands. Then as I got more interested in HIVE/SPL, I realised that I had basically no time left to play my other Gacha mobile games. So I liquidated those and funnelled them into the system. Since then, I've had no incoming funds flowing in.
Surprisingly, even with the drop of crypto prices, I'm still very much in the green with significantly more than I've put in. I've no intention of taking out anything on HIVE too, short of a x100 situation perhaps. 🤣 So it's going to be slowly growing and I'll see where this leads to at the end of the journey (or until I lose interest).
I also started out earning with faucets. That was some years ago. At the time my friends were all making fun of me to waste my time filling captchas lol.
