Koinos is a blockchain under development, with a few distinct goals:
- Koinos Blockchain Framework
- fee-less transactions (Mana Whitepaper)
- multi language support
- upgrades without hard forks
- proof of burn consensus (Consensus Whitepaper)
Community Member Roamin has created an Assembly Script SDK for Koinos. The Koinos team is very excited. Their tests show a 25% to 30% reduced size of smart contracts, compared to contracts written in C++.
Even more important might be that working in AS is more convenient to developpers than writing in C++.
