Being able to spend HBD directly through a credit/debit card sounds amazing. If there are no substantial conversion fees, and it goes around the hoops a regular uses has to jump through (sell HBD for Hive, send Hive to an exchange, sell it for e.g. USDT, sell the USDT for your national currency), it will be a huge game changer, for sure.

I wouldnt say it is direct since it is using Satoshi. So it is HBD to Satoshi to fiat on the Visa card.
However, it is likely a lot less than what you explained.
It will be interesting to see what the fees would be on the entire prices. Is it 3%? 5%?

Also, who pays the fees?
Visa and mastercard charge lots of fees but they are paid by the merchant.
So I don't care what I pay with because I am not paying for it.
