I'm not ashamed to admit that I have been absentee voting for probably close to a decade now. We don't mail our ballots in. We drop them off at the township hall on our way by. We work out of town and can never guarantee that we will be home in time to vote. It just works out better for us. If I was told I can't absentee vote anymore, there is a good chance I would just not vote.

I see nothing wrong with that. I don't think absentee voting was much of an issue until Trump made it one. It should be encouraged, not vilified. But then again, we should also have secure online voting by now. In my more cynical moments I think they just don't really want anyone to vote, so they keep it this way.
Yeah, I totally agree. Online voting should be a thing. If they really wanted to they could put things in place to make sure it was secure.
