The only difference I can see is the light reflection on the left hand side. Was that it? It is quite possible that there will be more checks and balances in the future to determine that information is legitimate, but I also think a byproduct of that is going to be more people taking nothing at face value and questioning every single piece of information they stumble upon.

Yep. Once I added the image, it stood out like proverbial dog balls and I had to get rid of it. It upset the whole balance of the image :D
This happens now, but without any evidence to back it up. A web of trust system could give it a robust confidence score, that is decentralized and being pulled from so many points it is almost impossible to fake. Would be interesting.
Yeah, for sure. Some of this AI stuff really has me concerned. Most specifically deep fakes. I understand what you are saying about the photo. It didn't bug me but I have been in similar positions!
