Everything you do is your responsibility.

To continue my theme of trying to push you into positivity on Hive. Push you into doing more on Hive. Pushing you to stop making excuses about not posting every day or engaging.

Today is about taking responsibility for everything you do. Not just on Hive but in life in general.

Everything you do.

You have to wrap your mind around the fact that all outcomes in your life is your responsibility.

People are quick to pat themselves on the back and take credit for successes. And so you should. 100 percent you should.

But you need to learn to take 100 percent responsibility for your mistakes and failures in life and on Hive.

Stop making excuses and blaming others. It is not their fault it is your own.

You have to suck it up and do some analysis of your mistakes and failures. Whether they are big or small.

If you want to do better, get better. Without analysis of what went wrong you cannot learn from were you went wrong.

Taking ownership, taking responsibility will change your attitude and you life.

Small example

If I make a post here on LeoFinance and get over 100 upvotes and almost 10 I junp for joy. The next 3 or four post I get like 50 cents.

Who do I blame? I could be like, okay, people don't get me, they don't like what I am writing, they don't like me. Etc.

That does not work or help. I have to go back and analysis what I did in the good and bad. Try and find out what works and don't work.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying write for the upvote. I am saying write what you love but in doing that, analysis of lack or response and big responses should teach yourself how you are writing more than what you are writing.

Going after your goals

Again you have to take responsibility. I have set a goal of all 12 LPUD days this year. How am I going to do this? What if I don't earn 150 Leo a month? Am I going to sit down and blame others for not voting me enough?

Hell no. After I do everything I said above to help myself in the next month I am then going to take responsibility and make sure I have away to buy enough Leo to meet my goal.

Final thoughts

Sorry if this post seems blunt. I am trying to open your eyes and push you, educate you, so you can do better here on Hive.

I am preaching what I practice and it works.

There isn't much you can do about what others do but you can control what you do. Putting out a post is your own work and it's all up to luck for everything else afterward. I wouldn't worry about it that much and what matters is that you made the post.

You are absolutely right!

Your post is blunt but beautiful and motivating.

We must be accountable for our actions, learn from our mistakes and improve… this is about Hive as it is about life and it is essential to do so.

Development is important... the problem is being still.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful thoughts 🤗

Thanks for getting my writing 😀

It is always a challenge, but a worthwhile one, writing like I did in that post.

Yeah, it's blunt. Sometimes blunt is what's needed! Or carrots and sticks.

Lol. Thanks. Needed a smile after writing my post.
