Youtube has been deleting users videos for years and years. I agree some services like 3Speak have a LONG way to go though in terms of usability and reliability. Odysee works pretty well though.
not sure why anyone would not have this stuff backed up if using a centralized outlet like #YouTube There’s so many examples of them deleting content at this point it’s just silly to trust they will store data indefinitely for free
I checked 3speak and it has a long way to go in terms of user interface. For users coming from web2, seeing such a basic UI is a red flag.
Agreed. I'm a long-time Hiver and I've only posted one video on 3speak, and that first time was confusing as heck. But I will continue to post there, as well as on LensTube too.
