I love the idea of being able to buy or sell real estate with a simple crypto transaction. There would be no need for intermediaries like lawyers or notaries to complete the process.
However, what happens if you own a physical house as an NFT, and you lose access to your private key, so you can no longer prove your ownership of it? The question is, would we still need a centralized entity to manage cases like that...
That is where one of the main challenges for the tokenization of real estate lies, for the moment it continues to depend on a centralized management by the companies that carry out this activity. I have no knowledge of individuals who have done it on their own.
