Haha, Edmonton can get brutal, no doubt! But Verkhoyansk and Oymyakon hit -67.8°C, which is next-level cold. Not sure anything in Canada gets quite that extreme, right?
Yeah, Edmonton did hit some crazy lows! I recall it being the coldest spot in North America back around 2009, with temps dropping to like -46°C at the airport. Still not quite Siberia's -67.8°C, but brutal enough for sure

I just remember that Edmonton was recorded as the coldest place in north america about 15 years or so ago, but perhaps not THAT cold
