Hi Friends,
I recently added a new holding to my portfolio - SPDR Developed World ex-US ETF, ticker SPDW:

This is a global equity ETF that focuses on established markets. I have other emerging market ETFs, so this is a similar play to my mega cap growth ETF I recently added, but globally focused instead of US focused.
The US capital markets have been strong and continue to make all time highs - this is a chance to slide in on some additional global exposure where I expect that to be outsized returns compared to the fully priced in US markets. It has a fairly high yield at 2.3%, so that is a positive as well. Here are some of the top holdings, but no holding is greater than 1.5% of the fund, so it is pretty diversified:
- Samsung
- Nestle
- Novartis
- Toyota
- Louis Vuitton
- Shopify
It is also highly diversified across sectors, with the largest being:
- Financial Services - 16%
- Industrials - 16%
- Technology - 12%
- Consumer Cyclical - 11%
- Healthcare - 10%
Not too exciting, but should be a money maker.
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
