When a society collapses, is it the individual people fault?
This is one of those things where, being in the mob, and the mob does something bad, then you are very honestly tarred with the same brush.
The biggest gotcha is that the boomers protested against wars, and then bought into wars, and accelerated them when they got into power. The other problem is that the boomers got into power quickly in their lives, and have stayed in power so long, that the latest generations don't even know what it is.
So, in that, i lay it at the "boomer's" (they group of people) feet.
And it wasn't the protesting for "no war" that was the real folly, it was the "free love" that destroyed the society. And the family became less and less important, until today, few are getting married, and MOST men live to regret getting married.
The thing about housing is that the boomers got laws past to keep cheap houses from being built and ruining their "property values"
And, truly, blame doesn't suffice. What we need is to know what is happening, and why. So we can make for ourselves a better future. we are about to see the "boomer's" world burn, as the younger generations abandon it wholesale. Suburban tract homes are about to be abandoned en mass. Huge swaths of houses left without people.
