I love that your statement, "When we cannot see people's scars, we cannot applaud their perseverance". It's absolutely true.
But the part you said that comparing oneself with others yield jealousy, I have a question to ask there.
Let's take for instance, I have a role model like Ronaldo. I'm always comparing myself with him and aiming to be greater than he is in the football history. I only compare my achievements with his without keeping grudges, I just want to take after him and become the next legend. Would you say that if negative?
I'm asking because I feel comparing oneself with others can sometimes depending on the the person's motive for doing so😎.
