Continuing with the book reviews, today's book is an autobiography of one of my favorite authors, the Portuguese writer “José Saramago”, this is one of the most famous autobiographical books, after the well-deserved Nobel Prize in literature for this writer. With several titles that have been very recognized and important among which stand out: The Gospel according to Jesus Christ, Essay on blindness, The intermittences of death. He has also had adaptations of one of his books to the big screen, which was carried out from his book "The Duplicate Man", famous book by this writer, which he kept in an incredible spiral of thoughts in order to decipher the complexity of the plot, which maintains the essence of the book, where this author also maintains a very particular use of punctuation marks, generating doubts in the reader of which character it was, this to give more space to the reader's imagination. Unquestionably an author who can be recommended for his very particular way of making his novels.

Continuando con los review de libros, el libro de hoy es una autobiografía de unos de mis autores favoritos el escritor portugués “José Saramago”, este es uno de los libros autobiográficos más afamados, posterior al tan merecido premio nobel de literatura a este escritor. Con varios títulos que han sido muy reconocidos e importantes entre los que destacan: El Evangelio según Jesucristo, Ensayo sobre la ceguera, Las intermitencias de la muerte. También ha tenido adaptaciones de uno de sus libros a la pantalla grande, el cual se llevó a cabo a partir de su libro “El Hombre Duplicado” célebre libro de este escritor el cual mantuvo en una espiral increíble de pensamientos para poder descifrar lo complejo de la trama, que mantiene la esencia del libro, en donde este autor también mantiene un uso muy particular en los signos de puntuación, generando dudas en el lector de cual personaje se trataba, esto para dar mayor espacio a la imaginación del lector. Indiscutiblemente un autor el cual se puede recomendar por su forma tan particular de realizar sus novelas.

Beyond a simple, self-indulgent and magnificent biography, Saramago shows us a young man who grew up with the difficulties and experiences of a normal child, but inside his head he was forming that wonderful world that led him to become a great writer who was and for me it is, because despite not being on this plane anymore, his books will keep him alive for many more years.
“Las pequeñas memorias” es una autobiografía realizada por el escritor “José Saramago” en el cual nos revela partes de su pasado que son inéditas, contando la historia de cómo su apellido es cambiado por “Saramago” un sobrenombre que le adjudicaron a su familia unos vecinos de su aldea, los cuales los llamaban “Los Saramago” siendo su verdadero nombre “José de Sousa” siendo así, un error que en el libro explica con detalles; así mismo contando como tuvo suerte de tener ese sobrenombre y no los de otros vecinos los cuales los apodaban “los cara culo”. Otra de sus anécdotas más curiosas es cuando en su aldea existía un perro negro gigante el cual le daba mucho miedo de pequeño y como fue mordido por él, así de igual manera esa anécdota que tuvo de pequeño y como jugaba con un primita a corta edad, descubriendo su sexualidad. Muchas de sus grandes anécdotas a lo largo de su vida se ven reflejada ahí, y en este caso marcaré tres puntos importantes de este libro: 1. Cómo aborda los recuerdos del niño que fue, revelando de donde viene 2. El ritmo de la historia 3. Revelar esos secretos al desnudo. Más allá de una simple biografía autocomplaciente y magnífica, Saramago nos muestra a un joven que fue creciendo con las dificultades y vivencias de un niño normal, pero dentro de su cabeza iba formando ese mundo maravilloso que lo llevó a convertirse en un gran escritor que fue y para mí lo es, porque a pesar de ya no estar en este plano, sus libros lo mantendrán vivo por muchos años más.

Many of his personal anecdotes, of how he faced that black dog or how he approached his aunt at the time. Saramago reveals his past experiences in an honest way, giving us as viewers a sensible and concrete idea of how this great writer lived in that decade of the 20's and 30's.
En el libro Saramago nos muestra como es aprendizaje de entre 4 a sus 15 años le dejaron enseñanzas importantes, replanteando ideas creando ese mundo magnífico, dándole madurez que desde su infancia lo fueron convirtiendo en el hombre que fue. Muchas de sus anécdotas personales, de cómo enfrentó aquél perro negro o como abordó a su tía en su momento. Saramago desnuda sus vivencias del pasado de una forma honesta dándonos como espectadores una idea sensata y concreta de cómo este gran escritor vivió en aquella década de los años 20´s y 30´s.
2. The rhythm of the story

It is a fresh, friendly reading and quite full of things that make us see very well how those years passed in the life of Saramago.
Fresco, amigable y muy fácil de digerir, Saramago mantiene un ritmo constante y siempre atentos a lo que viene, deseando cada vez más saber que ocurre, despertándonos una gran curiosidad de saber qué otras cosas vivió en su infancia, al punto de siempre querer saber más como esa doña chismosa del barrio. Es una lectura fresca, amigable y bastante llena de cosas que nos hacen ver muy bien como pasaron esos años en la vida de Saramago.

Para muchos a veces se honestos en cómo fue nuestra infancia o como mentíamos por nuestras travesuras, es bastante difícil de admitir aun estando grandes para muchos, debido tal vez a esa percepción del “Yo no fui”, pero Saramago desnuda sus vivencias y anécdotas de una manera sorprendente, rebela sin filtros su pasado como niño y adolescente sin macaras y maquillajes, demostrando con honestidad una vida de curiosidades y momentos muy personales al punto, tal vez, de revelar esos secretos que muy pocos nos atrevemos a decir, por pena o por pretender mostrar una vida supuestamente sin errores, pues este escritor nos deja una enseñanza, donde siempre la verdad es lo que nos hace libres y nos convierte en personas realmente buenas y de conducta correcta, se plantea una vida en donde por un error, este le dio su apellido a su padre en vez de ser en el sentido tradicional, cos que muy pocos conoce y en lo personal me sorprendió dándome la sensación de acercamiento, conociéndolo más y sintiéndome muy cercano al él.

Es un escritor portugués nacido en 1922, conocido por ser escritor, novelista, poeta, dramaturgo y periodista, poseedor de excelentes títulos literarios y ganador del premio nobel de literatura en el año 1998. considerado uno de los mejores novelistas, nos ha dejado un material literario impecable que van desde libros de poesía hasta novelas que han logrado incluso ser adaptadas al cine, con participación de directores y actores muy reconocidos.
