En el año 2005 se crea el primer Coworking, en la ciudad de San Francisco en Estados Unidos, con el nombre de Hat Factory, lo cual motivó la creación de otros espacios que al transcurrir el tiempo se usaban cada vez más. En una investigación realizada en el 2014, se contabilizaron más de 2000 coworking en todo el mundo. Entre los mejores coworking del mundo se destacan: Agora Collective (Alemania), Blix Spaces (Australia) y The Hub Islington (Londres).
A principio del año 2023, en la capital, conocimos un espacio de trabajo compartido llamado Tecnología Financiera (Venezuela), eso nos inspiró abrir un negocio en nuestra ciudad que compartiera la pasión coworking.
El 21/03/2023 dimos el primer paso de remodelación de los espacios que hoy pueden disfrutar nuestros suscriptores; mientras se realizaban dichas actividades nos enteramos del evento Expo-tecno Digital, el cual se realizó en nuestra ciudad en el mes de abril del 2023, en el cual conocimos a la comunidad de Hive de Barquisimeto de los cuales aprendimos mas sobre el proyecto y les hicimos una invitación para que conocieran las instalaciones.
Cuando el equipo de Hive nos visitó les hicimos un recorrido mostrándoles todos los avances para el momento y les contamos las ideas de lo que queríamos hacer en el futuro, a ellos les gusto lo que estábamos haciendo y nos incentivaron a continuar avanzando, realizando una serie de recomendaciones las cuales analizamos en equipo y las adaptamos a nuestro proyecto permitiendo así hacer mejoras a la idea inicial, también nos animaron a formar parte de la comunidad de Hive. Por lo que iniciamos el estudio del proyecto y descubrimos que era interesante para nosotros porque además de ser una criptomoneda, global, descentralizada y libre, tiene una stablecoin que hace fácil recibir pagos, ahorrar y generar ingresos pasivos y lo más increíble ser uno de los primeros comercios que la usaremos como método de pago.
En los meses posteriores seguimos trabajando en la adecuación de los espacios dividiendo la ejecución en cinco categorías:
1.- Obra Civil:
Nos reunimos con una arquitecto y le planteamos el modelo de negocio con la finalidad de que diseñara un plano basado en los espacios disponibles, una vez realizado el primer plano acordamos una junta para que revisáramos su propuesta a la cual se le hicieron varios cambios, una vez llegamos a un consenso procedimos a buscar diferentes empresas de construcción y luego definimos cual era la más adecuada para realizar las obras.
Se iniciaron los trabajos del CETAM; retirando el mobiliario y desechos del anterior negocio, luego se realizaron las demoliciones de dos paredes y una barra, se sellaron tres puertas y dos ventanas con bloque, cemento y friso, también se crearon dos puertas una para el Salón Esmeralda y otra para la oficina Zafiro; en la 2da fase de la obra civil se efectuaron reparaciones de friso en las paredes del Salón Diamante, Coworking y oficina Ópalo, también se instalaron 5 salas de baños y un lavaplatos en el área del comedor.
2.- Reinstalación del Sistema Eléctrico:
Se inició buscando asesoría de Ingenieros Eléctricos para que realizaran un diagnóstico de la infraestructura disponible, en la cual se determinó que era necesario hacer de nuevo todo el sistema eléctrico para el cual se elaboró una nueva configuración de los circuitos para cada área diseñando un plano que contiene toda la acometida y nos recomendaron colocar tableros eléctricos adicionales en las principales áreas de las instalaciones, considerando la importancia del sistema eléctrico aceptamos cambiar todo el cableado, tomas corrientes enchufes, breacker, interruptores y luminarias; adicionalmente aceptando sus observaciones se instaló un sistema central de protección para nivelar las subidas y bajadas de tensión eléctrica.
Igualmente se instalaron dos plantas eléctricas para mitigar las fallas del sistema eléctrico en el país.
3.- Incorporación de sistema de unidades de refrigeración:
Luego de terminar con la parte eléctrica, exploramos que empresas especializadas en el ramo de refrigeración podrían realizar las instalaciones de las unidades de refrigeración en CETAM, evaluamos cotizaciones y seleccionamos la más indicada así comenzamos los trabajos de instalación en la recepción, donde se instalaron 2 unidades de 24.000 BTU, después se instalaron en el salón diamante 2 unidades de 18.000BTU, continuamos con el salón principal donde se instalaron 2 unidades de 60.000 BTU y una de 36.000 BTU, seguimos con el salón esmeralda en el cual se instalaron 2 unidades de 18.000 BTU, y en la oficina zafiro 2 unidades de 12.000 BTU, pasamos a la oficina ópalo con 1 unidad de 12.000 BTU y en la oficina Cuarzo 1 unidad de 12.000 BTU, para un total de 13 unidades instaladas en todo el CETAM.
4.- Pintura, Carpintería y Herrería:
En la cuarta etapa se contrató un grupo de pintores que se encargaron en darle color y pulcritud a todo el edificio, en el exterior se aplicaron 35 galones de pinturas y en el interior se realizó un trabajo más profundo porque además de las paredes también se pintaron más de 1000 láminas de cielo raso para que el techo estuviera impecable, Después pasamos a la parte de cambios de puertas de salones, oficinas, baños, para un total de 13 puertas, se realizaron cambio de vidrios de las ventanas, sustitución portón santa maría pequeño por puerta de vidrio para la entrada principal, colocación de puerta de vidrio para el acceso al salón grande del coworking, reforzar portón santa maría grande con un emparrillado metálico para aumentar la seguridad.
5.- Revestimientos y Decoración:
Se inició con el recubrimiento con papel tapiz en el salón esmeralda luego en el salón diamante y en la recepción adicionalmente se colocaron materiales autoadhesivo, y para la decoración del mostrador se fusionaron dos piezas de acero inoxidable con soldadura de argón y se instalaron láminas 3D, láminas de PVC marmolizadas y paneles autoadhesivos.
Inauguración
Llegó el día de la inauguración, era el momento de mostrar la obra culminada a nuestros familiares y amigos ese día 06 de Enero del 2.024, comenzamos la ceremonia con la bendición de un Padre, luego cortamos la cinta, seguido del brindis y unas palabras de bienvenida para dar paso a la presentación del equipo de Hive Barquisimeto y terminamos con un show de cocteles granizados y pasapalos variados en compañía de todos los presentes y disfrutamos de una amena celebración.
Para la apertura de las actividades el día lunes 08 de enero lanzamos una promoción:
1.- Promoción Coworking:
Disfruta de un espacio de trabajo por inauguración suscríbete en Enero por (70$) hasta los 1eros días de Marzo; cuentas con acceso a una cómoda área de trabajo, una amplia recepción para atender a tus clientes y un lounge equipado.
2.- Espacios Privados:
Oficinas privadas, 200$; cuenta con aire acondicionado independiente, planta eléctrica, hidratación y café gratis, kit sorpresa de bienvenida y muchas cosas más.

On 21/03/2023 we took the first step of remodeling the spaces that today our subscribers can enjoy; while these activities were being carried out we learned about the Expo-tecno Digital event, which was held in our city in April 2023, in which we met the Hive community of Barquisimeto from whom we learned more about the project and we invited them to visit the facilities.
When the Hive team visited us we gave them a tour showing them all the progress made so far and we told them the ideas of what we wanted to do in the future, they liked what we were doing and encouraged us to continue moving forward, making a series of recommendations which we analysed as a team and adapted them to our project allowing us to make improvements to the initial idea, they also encouraged us to be part of the Hive community. So we began to study the project and discovered that it was interesting for us because in addition to being a global, decentralised and free cryptocurrency, it has a stablecoin that makes it easy to receive payments, save and generate passive income and the most incredible thing is that it is one of the first businesses that will use it as a payment method.
In the following months we continued working on the adaptation of the spaces, dividing the execution in five categories:* *.
1.- Civil Works:
We met with an architect and we presented the business model with the purpose of designing a plan based on the available spaces, once the first plan was done we agreed a meeting to review their proposal to which several changes were made, once we reached a consensus we proceeded to look for different construction companies and then we defined which was the most appropriate to carry out the works.
The CETAM works began; removing the furniture and debris from the previous business, then the demolition of two walls and a bar, three doors and two windows were sealed with block, cement and frieze, also two doors were created one for the Emerald Room and one for the Sapphire office; in the 2nd phase of the civil works were made repairs of frieze on the walls of the Diamond Room, Coworking and Opal office, also 5 bathrooms were installed and a dishwasher in the dining area.
2.- Reinstallation of the Electrical System:
We began by seeking advice from Electrical Engineers to carry out a diagnosis of the available infrastructure, in which it was determined that it was necessary to redo the entire electrical system for which a new configuration of the circuits for each area was developed designing a plan containing all the connection and they recommended us to place additional electrical panels in the main areas of the facilities, considering the importance of the electrical system we accepted to change all the wiring, sockets, plugs, breacker, switches and lights; In addition, accepting their comments, a central protection system was installed to level out the electrical surges and dips.
Two power plants were also installed to mitigate power system failures in the country.
3.- Incorporation of the refrigeration unit system:
After finishing with the electrical part, we explored which companies specialised in the refrigeration branch could install the refrigeration units in CETAM, we evaluated quotations and selected the most suitable one, so we started the installation works in the reception, where 2 units of 24.000 BTU were installed, then 2 units of 18.000 BTU were installed in the diamond room, followed by the main room where 2 units of 60.000 BTU and one of 36.000 BTU were installed. 000 BTU, we continued with the main hall where 2 units of 60,000 BTU and one of 36,000 BTU were installed, we continued with the emerald hall where 2 units of 18,000 BTU were installed, and in the sapphire office 2 units of 12,000 BTU, we moved on to the opal office with 1 unit of 12,000 BTU and in the Quartz office 1 unit of 12,000 BTU, for a total of 13 units installed throughout the CETAM.
4.- Painting, Carpentry and Ironwork:
In the fourth stage we hired a group of painters who were responsible for giving colour and neatness to the entire building, on the outside 35 gallons of paints were applied and inside a deeper work was done because in addition to the walls were also painted more than 1000 sheets of ceiling so that the ceiling was impeccable, Then we went to the part of changes of doors of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, for a total of 35 gallons of paint, We then moved on to the replacement of the doors of the classrooms, offices, bathrooms, for a total of 13 doors, we changed the glass in the windows, replaced the small santa maría gate with a glass door for the main entrance, installed a glass door for access to the large coworking room, reinforced the large santa maría gate with a metallic grill to increase security.
5.- Cladding and Decoration:
We started with wallpaper covering in the emerald hall then in the diamond hall and in the reception additionally self-adhesive materials were placed, and for the decoration of the counter two pieces of stainless steel were fused with argon welding and 3D foils, marbleised PVC foils and self-adhesive panels were installed.
Inauguration
The day of the inauguration arrived, it was the moment to show the finished work to our family and friends that day January 06 of 2.024, we began the ceremony with the blessing of a Father, then we cut the ribbon, followed by the toast and a few words of welcome to give way to the presentation of the team of Hive Barquisimeto and we finished with a show of slush cocktails and assorted snacks in the company of all those present and we enjoyed a pleasant celebration.
