If you've followed my posts over the years you'll know I'm a big fan of @actifit . It's a step counter app that rewards you with AFIT tokens and a little hive if you're lucky.
I use it daily but always forget to post my results in order to earn my tokens, but it I view it as my private time the blockchain.
Actifit posts are often met with disdain as junk posts but I love them and they don't show up on my Leo page so I don't really care how they look on my hive feed. They just really hold myself accountable to keep moving through out the day. But I always thought a Move to Earn app could be the killer dapp hive was looking for.
Last October, there was an airdrop to match your afit tokens as the token was made available on the binance smart chain. I think you needed at least 2000 afit in your wallet to be eligible but I didn't have it.
Over the years I must have earned at least 50,000 of these things but honestly, I always sold them on hive-engine whenever something new caught my eye. I love the dapp but didn't support the token as perhaps I should have.
So all of the sudden I noticed a huge price jump on BSC and AFIT had gone up to $.22. That's like real money!!!
So why did it happen? Well, #move2earn has been trending on twitter mainly due to @Stepnofficial launching on BSC and similar apps getting some attention. @actifit is an alternative and gaining a little traction on BSC probably because investors are looking for a quick hit. The Stepn token is GMT
There doesn't seem to be any major news from Actifit itself but it is a proven dapp on hive that we should all support. There isn't a lot of liquidity on BSC and currently now way to send Afit from Hive-Engine onto BSC. (Umm, @khaleelkazi ?)
I'm going to definitely keep my eye on the space but Hive twitter spammers unite and hit #move2earn and #movetoearn for sure!! Maybe infiltrate the #stepn hashtag while all eyes are on them
NOTE: It does seem that AFIT recently got listed on CoinMarketCap so this is sure helping.
