Down down down

in LeoFinance2 days ago

I took another look at my Coinbase portfolio today and I'm not really happy with it. The value of my portfolio has halved. On the one hand, that's terrible, of course. On the other hand, it's not so bad, because I'm still in the profit league compared to my investment. And if I look at it in the long term, it will certainly increase significantly again. Since I'm under no pressure to sell.

Then I took a closer look at Hive Coin today. I've already written over the last few days that it's somehow only going down and also asked the question of where it will bottom out. I had three charts created for the last three months, six months, and twelve months.

So I'm pretty sure it's not my fault that I'm here on the platform now. 😉

Chart 1: Last 3 Months (November 2025 - February 2026)
Current Price: $0.069

This short-term chart shows exactly what I’ve been experiencing since I joined Hive. The price has been on a downward trend throughout this period.

What I see:

• The blue line shows daily price movements
• The red dashed line marks the current price
• The green dotted line shows the 3-month high
• The red dotted line shows the 3-month low

My concern: Since I started on Hive, I’ve only seen red. The price has been falling consistently, which naturally makes me wonder: Is this a bad time to be here?

Chart 2: Last 6 Months (August 2025 - February 2026)
Current Price: $0.069

Looking back six months gives a bit more context. The chart shows that HIVE was at a higher level in late 2025, and the decline I’m experiencing is part of a longer downward movement.

What this tells me:

• The recent decline isn’t just a “bad week” – it’s been ongoing for months
• There were some recovery attempts (small upward movements), but the overall trend has been down
• The current price is near the 6-month low

My question: Is this a temporary dip, or is this the new normal for HIVE?

Chart 3: Last 12 Months (February 2025 - February 2026)
Current Price: $0.069

The full-year view gives the most complete picture. This chart shows where HIVE was a year ago and how dramatically things have changed.

What stands out:

• HIVE was significantly higher a year ago
• There have been multiple peaks and valleys throughout the year
• The current price represents a substantial decline from the yearly high
• However, HIVE has shown resilience before – it’s recovered from dips in the past

My takeaway: While the current situation looks concerning, the 12-month chart shows that cryptocurrency prices are volatile by nature. HIVE has experienced ups and downs before.
