There are fear in people now that Ai might take our jobs but when I sit down to think about this issue of AI well, I realized it will take some jobs definitely but then that doesn't mean we won't have jobs for humans again. Let's take a look at at when electrity came, those investing tools we use for light then that are battery powered went into the same fear, some lost their job till today but some are still in existence doing the same job ,bcos they could think out of the box, they make tools that still powered by batteries but then still has space to use for electricity. So, they now make it electricity and battery powered items.
So, people rush to buy it bcos it has two choice,can be used manually when there isn't electricity supply and can use electricity when there is supply. People that didn't think it through to make it such a way then lose their job for life .
Look at when social media also came into existence, there was fear, thinking alot will lose their jobs,some radio stations lose their stand and while some even got bigger , what did they do? They restrategized ,they could think above the box,the improved and invited new techniques.
So, the "fear" isn't new . What people should know and understand is that innovation always has this two things;solved problems and then created a new problem,so, this problem will open new opportunities,new industries and all. Some are even making money now from this "fear"of people, you will hear"AI will take your job, come and learn everlasting skills that cannot be taken" but the truth is innovation can only take your skills only when you give it to it.
Looking for the new job AI is going to create is the great approach and not if it will take your Job . People need a to be creative,needs to grow their mindset, if you are to break limits ,discover purpose, then you must develop a growth mindset,not been afraid to embrace opportunity but always be ready to ascend, it will help you move when there is need for upgrade. There will always be innovation, there has always been, so ,don't fear the new tool "AI" rather, learn how to ride with it and claim your place.
