RE: My Financial Goals For 2021

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Absolutely it’s pretty ambitious I don’t know if I’ll hit it but rather aim high and fall short and be happy with that lol!

The Asian markets are super tricky like South Korea has some great companies but consumer debt is sky high so I’m worried about demand

Then there’s Taiwan that dominates the semiconductor market but China wants to pull it under their control, so gosh they don’t make it easy for investors

South Africa is a gold producing country so I feel there is a bit less of a chance of it being banned not that it’s impossible! Our banks offer gold accounts attached to standard account, we also have a larger second hand and informal gold market that pushes fees down to allow it to remain competitive

Normally with gold bans it’s on bullion but coins still have the collectors angle and market! Also I’m not too tied to my country the moment they do something like that I’ll across the boarder no questions asked

That would be epic, I think if LEO can get another exchange listing along with all the dev then sure the sky is the limit at the moment I still think the funnels into LEO are too small and obscure

Sort:

Asia is super tricky and you summed it well up.

I have in portfolio two Asian stocks, Samsung and Daikin. Taiwan Semiconductor is appealing, where I'm still afraid to jump in and I did pretty good money with NIO this year.

Agree Krugerand Country will not shoot itself in the foot. :)

I still think there are other Asians counties let’s say Thailand who have more been rekt that relief heavy on tourism if the pandemic is over buying some travel stocks would be a good deal too

I do like Samsung I think they’ll do well kings of hardware I’ll have to read up aboht Daikin thanks for the tip

I am still afraid to pull the trigger and I have allocated in my mind already I just am waiting for this all to clear up I am happt not to catch the absolute bottom and pick up as it moves up and consistent again

If they do ban precipus metals I’ll have my bars and coins added to bracelets and chains I will look a bit odd walking around with a mass of gold but it’s decorative lol it’s not and investment and then leave the country

Daikin is world leader in AC units and from my knowledge we are not getting cooler.

There was a communist joke with a jew emigrating to Israel. He had a Lenin head made of 1kg gold. In Soviet Russia owning gold was not allowed. At the customs, soviet board control, why do you take 1 kg out of Soviet Russia? Answer:it is not gold, it is our bellowed Lenin and I take it with me in my trip to that capitalist country to preach about our ideology! Arriving in Israel at the custom: Why do you bring communist symbols to our country? Answer: I bring 1kg gold, no communism.
