I’ve noticed lately that rewards seem way smaller for so many users, even ones who usually do really well. It was starting to feel like something had changed with the pool or voting patterns, but what you said makes sense — fewer active bloggers = bigger slice of Hive for those still posting.
It’s funny how it looks less rewarding when the price is down, but really it might be the best time to stack Hive Power quietly. Still, I totally get why it feels demotivating when the $ value drops.
Appreciate you breaking it down so clearly — this gives me a whole new perspective on posting during slow times.
However, I think what everyone should focus on is what we all get from each others actual content- the sharing, the stories, the travel, the adventures, the community and the financial rewards are just icing on the cake.
And if I could I would be posting all day every day and not just for the rewards, but so people can see the amazing places and wonderful people that I am meeting the the fantastic experiences that I am blesses to have.
I have so much content that I would have to take a year off to post it all- oh I have already taken a year off to post it all, but have barely blogged at all because I'm out doing it...thats why in my last post I was toying with the idea of livestreaming on 3speak...
