Building A Better Hive Explorer Because I Need It Myself

in LeoFinanceyesterday

I am not a professional developer. I am learning data science, I mess with APIs, I experiment, and I break things until they work. But I use Hive every day, and the tools we have are outdated. So instead of waiting for someone else to build it, I started building my own modern Hive dashboard.

Nothing fancy. Just practical. Clean UI, dark theme, fast data, and everything in one place.

The idea is simple. I want a dashboard where I can type in a username and instantly see the real information that matters. Balances. Hive Power. Voting mana. RC. Delegations. Savings. Rewards. History with filters that actually make sense. I want the numbers that help me understand what is going on with my account and with the chain.

I also want a real network status page. Live head block. TPS estimate. Witness rankings. Price feed. Recent operations flowing in real time. Not hidden behind clutter or old layouts. Just raw blockchain activity in a clean format.

I am slowly wiring it all together using Hive RPC calls and a basic Next JS stack. It is not perfect. It is not professional. This is me learning in real time, building something I personally want to use. If other people find it useful, good. If not, I still learn something and improve my skills.

The goal is not to compete with hiveblocks or any other explorer. It is to make a tool that actually fits how I use the chain. Something lighter. Something faster. Something built by someone who actually spends time on Hive.

I am not a pro. I am just ChronoCrypto, a guy who loves crypto and wants better tools. This project is my way of leveling up while giving Hive something more modern to work with.
