I jumped into Zapier’s 2026 AI Transformation Strategy hangout this morning, and honestly, it hit different. No hype. No buzzwords. Just two leaders breaking down where automation is headed and how fast the next wave is coming.
When you listen to people building the infrastructure behind modern workflows, you start realizing something: the world is shifting from “doing the work” to “designing the systems that do the work.” Companies aren’t asking if they should automate they’re asking how much they can automate without breaking the business.
That’s exactly why I’m grinding on data science, why I track everything, and why I’m aligning my income streams with automation, AI tools, and crypto. Everyone wants leverage. AI is leverage. Data is leverage. Automation is leverage. And sitting in on this call just confirmed it.
What stood out the most was how these teams think about 2026 like it’s two months away, not two years away. They’re planning around speed, not comfort. Around systems, not tasks. Around output, not effort.
That’s the mindset I’m carrying into everything gig work, crypto, analytics, investing. Build systems now so you’re not scrambling later.
A lot of people sleep on this stuff. I just prefer to stay awake.

Nicely put! That's the best explanation of the practical effects of AI that I've read.
