1/🧵Life without smartphones would probably feel slower, quieter, and more present. People might spend less time scrolling and more time paying attention to conversations, surroundings, and hobbies. Social interactions could become more personal because meeting face-to-face or making planned phone calls would matter more again.

2/🧵Since the introduction of smartphones, we find it hard to have quality interaction with people. On several occasions I have sat out with my friends, and every one of us focuses on our phones, and anything we try to keep out of our eyes is over the screen before you know what is happening – a notification will pop up. Smartphones have really come in between family time; no matter the disadvantage, life without a smartphone will be boring.

true, phones killed real presence. building wealth needs the same focus though - less scrolling, more consistent investing over decades
