After the team's announcement a few weeks ago, the long-awaited new reward system has been implemented in Splinterlands, which will definitively replace the daily and end-of-season focus chests. The new system is much simpler and introduces a new token: GLINT. Each battle won will provide a certain amount of GLINT which will be proportional to the League we are in, the SPS locked in staking, the guild we belong to and the choice to play Modern or Wild.
There are therefore multiple factors that influence the score obtained at the end of each battle so it is necessary to pay attention to some points that can greatly increase your GLINT tokens!
Among all, SPS staking remains a fundamental factor because it provides a certainly important multiplier based on the number of tokens being staked. For example, I currently hold over 190k SPS in my wallet and this guarantees me an x11 multiplier, substantially increasing my GLINT! Added to this is a 12% bonus provided by the guild to which you belong, a nice loot that encourages players to be active and grow through brawls, improving buildings and efficiency even on the players' GLINT score!
Furthermore, to encourage battles in Modern, there is an additional 50% bonus, a strategic choice to entice manual players more than bots! So it will be much more convenient to participate in the Modern league!
How to use GLINTs
With the elimination of chests, it will now be possible to purchase rewards directly from the new shop created by the team and each player will be able to spend GLINT to grab the available rewards! There are different types of packs or DRAFTs available which guarantee an increasing chance of obtaining rare cards, or limited edition titles will be available or it will be possible to exchange GLINT for MERITS, or purchase potions.
The new rewards system is therefore much more dynamic, and more interesting, furthermore the team has confirmed that improvements can be introduced more easily, following the community's feedback! A great revolution!
