A bit ethnocentric in this post my friend. Given the blogging earnings "compared to traditional wages in developed nations," it is likely that the center of mass adoption for Hive will be outside the English-speaking world. In fact, I'm willing to bet that first-language English speakers are already well in the minority here. We're in a global culture, and Hive is a global network; it is time to broaden our perspective to include Korean bloggers, instead of setting them aside as if they don't really count (which is kind of what you do here).

I think the idea was to find peers rather than discount the non-English speakers?

That's my point. They are top-ranked bloggers on Hive. They are his peers, unless you use language or ethnicity to discount them as peers.
