Perhaps they chose this precisely to show that this bird was more intelligent than many thought, and a sort of Phoenix idea... Resurrected from the ashes. But that's just me thinking ...

I wouldn't compare a giant chicken to a phoenix :))) but it was very amusing seeing you try o make sense of random naming decision :P
