People try up get as many credit card as possible, including me. I have around 5 credit cards for different purpose like HDFC Rupay for UPI, SBI Casback for getting 5% cashback, HPCL Crdedit Card for Fuel and some others. Now there are some Life Time Free credit card also but I feel we don't need so many different credit cards.

Actually we need 1 premium credit card and that is sufficient for most of the people. I am looking for HDFC Diners Club Black which gives around 3.33% on every transaction. When you optimize it, you can get upto 7 to 8% which is more than enough. I know the eligibility might not be available for everyone. Like I am eligible for HDFC Diners Club Black because it needs 2.5L per month salary or 60L of ITR which is quite high.
But if someone having so much income then getting 1 premium Card and directing all the expenses through that card is better option than having multiple cards. People try to get multiple cards for lounge access but at the end they will not get the good return from it. The priority for credit card users should be getting more returns from the credit card usage. And we will be getting more returns if we direct maximum expenses from one credit card itself.
That's what I am trying to do now. I am trying to optimize my SBI Cashback Credut Card so that I can do maximum expense from that credit card and earn maximum 5% returns from it. And hopefully I can use it to maximum places and get the returns.
