In simple terms, Green-tech refers to a technology which is environmentally friendly which means technology which uses natural resources which are less harmful. As of today most of cars run on petrol or diesel which are natural resources but they are limited resources and are not environment friendly. If we talk about the energy concept, green tech refers to creating clean energy production like a Solar panel for electricity.

For example, today we get electricity at our home which comes from different sources, which can be from a Windmill, solar panel or coal. In India, majorly from the coal which pollutes the environment. But In India, we have an abundance of Solar energy, so green tech refers to increasing producing energy from the sun rather than from coal.
The market of green tech is relatively young and we are seeing it is becoming better with each passing day. It has also garnered significant investor interest, where each and everyone is trying to invest in a company which works in green tech. The good thing is that the awareness about the impact of the depletion of natural resources is been thought by the people. It is not that green tech is a new concept, it was there for a long time but the problem is the technology was not advanced enough to use green tech much.
With the technology advancement, we are seeing more and more technology related to green tech is getting started. Like a lot of electric vehicles, sonal panels etc etc. And it's good too because we have seen how the climate had changed in last 10 years and thus if we continue like this the global warming effect will be Provident.
This is the first and simple step towards reducing the global warming but its taken the right step.
