So today Russia has declared that it will go on a war with Ukraine and the outcome of the war is yet to be seen, but people are actually witnessing the bloodbath in their portfolio where everything is going down, Crypto, Stocks and what not. We are yet to recover from the Covid war and then this war has started, where the first war was either natural or man-made who knows but the second one is sure shot man-made which should be avoided at any cost.
The Indian market has been down over 4.7% whereas my portfolio is down around 6.5% and it is going down for quite some time now in the anticipation of war. The war should be avoided at any cost not because I have been at loss because bloodbath in the market is ok because we do not want the bloodbath in the street.

Crypto markets are down too, where the Bitcoin and Ethereum have gone down considerably, 9% and 12% to be precise. So what should we will be doing, should we buy the dip or wait for some more time. In my opinion, we should wait because the war situation has just begun and it will be continued for some time and thus no one knows when the situation will be better so, its better to wait for some time.

Surprisingly, the Gold price has been increasing for some time and just today after the war breakout it has sharply increased. This has because people feel that Gold will become expensive and it is rightly so.

Anyway, we should not panic sell now, and continue investing whenever possible because when the situation eases the market will increase and we just have to wait for some time when the situation eases out and at that time we can enter the market. But if you have the SIP, let the SIP continues because now you will be getting more units because the market is down. The Russian market is the most affected and its market has gone down 50% mainly because of the sanctions from other countries. These corrections are because of the geopolitical tensions, but there are other reasons too because of the tensions the prices of the some will increase and thus affect individuals.
Though two countries are going on war, the effect will be seen by each and everyone in the whole world. So be patient and do not panic sell.
