It also took me a really long time just refusing to participate in the entire meme coin and NFT fugazi last cycle, but I really flipped a switch recently. It's simply how the game of crypto is played (I don't make the rules) and where all the money will flow into once the normies get back into it.
Also, it's amazingly fun and I can see how this is only the start of it all now. Meme coins are just the new form of gambling which in a way is more fair than casinos now.
I would say try it out just the experience it with small money. Download a Solana wallet extension (I use solflare), put some SOL or USDC on it, use dexscreener.com to get all info on different coins, connect your wallet to jup.ag and trading some. The times when fees were an issue are over and it's insanely easy and fast to swap from one thing to another. Off course, similar to gambling you need a proper mindset and set your limits to what you are willing to lose.
