If we compare in the last 5 years so far, we will realize that it is becoming very common to use blockhain technology in several companies in different sectors. This is undoubtedly a significant advance and the best of all is to know that we are just beginning to shape the world.
We know that through blockchain, financial services have changed completely. Today it is not limited to just being a means of cryptocurrency transactions.
We can expand countless ways to use this technology to our advantage, from small simple contracts like registering a wedding to more complex services like tracking and auditing thousands of transactions in agriculture.
Blockchain and exports
Now a new sector will be benefiting from the blockchain that is export. Brazil will implement this new technology, as the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB)
announced this new project. The IBM Blockchain Platform will be responsible for offering its services.
Therefore, with the IBM platform, we will have a new concept of scanning, bringing faster and more security to export procedures. Brazil is known worldwide for exporting soybeans, petroleum, corn, beef, cellulose, among others. The project will also benefit all Arab League countries.
"CCAB also migrated its IT environment to the IBM Cloud, which brought more agility to the development of new applications and enabled improvements in maintenance, costs and efforts of the teams, which faced daily challenges due to legacy and complex systems."
Speed, immutability, security, transparency and of course, innovation are the concepts that carry the use of blockchain technology and that is why it is increasingly being essential requirements for several companies.
Blockchain and coffee
The giant Amazon well known worldwide for its electronic services, currently has an extension called "Amazon Web Services", it offers blockchain tools for companies choosing not to create their own.
Nestlé is a great example, as it recently used Amazon's blockchain services to launch "Chain of Origin", a new brand of coffee and we can use the QR Code to observe the coffee supply chain and what is really cool and curious, we can know on which farm it was planted and on which farm the coffee was roasted.
This technological innovation makes it possible to save billions of dollars as blockchain often does more quickly and securely what many third-party services do. This being the case, companies tend to avoid spending and profit making increases even more.
As time goes by, a company that does not operate with this technology can be considered "old-fashioned" and we know how the competition that certain companies live in the market is. No one wants to lose out so blockchain will be the path that everyone should follow.

Sendo assim, com a plataforma IBM teremos um novo conceito de digitalizar, trazer mais rapidez e mais segurança para os procedimentos de exportação. O Brasil é conhecido mundialmente por exportar soja, petrólio, milho, carne bovina, celulose entre outros. O projeto também beneficiará todos os países da Liga Árabe.

Com o passar do tempo a empresa que não tiver operando com esta tecnologia poderá ser considerada como "antiquada" e sabemos como é a competição que certas empresas convivem no mercado. Ninguém quer sair perdendo então a blockchain será o caminho que todas deverão seguir.

Blockchain technology will be standard for many industries in the next 10-15 years. We have barely scratched the surface of what blockchains and tokenization can do. I'm pretty excited :)!
Different industries star to adopt blockchain tech and make it the core of their applications. I know transportations has many uses of it and cargo more, but I would never thought how to apply it on coffee. It seems that everybody wants to leverage the features that blockchains brings and some even make use of cryptocurrencies.
