The Mets have some good young players in the pipeline but still rebuilding their farm system which has never been elite but they are making progress.
I think most quality major league players werent ranked in the top 10.
Vientos was not even highly thought of by the Mets and it appears he is a bonafide power hitter at the MLB level.
Give me 2 more of him, even if not highly ranked.
All I ask is they produce at least another Strawberry one day soon Task.

Who knows, Vientos might end up hitting 300 HRs in a Met uniform.
Vientos struck out FIVE times yesterday. I love the guy but an organizational impact player he’s not.

It's difficult, I couldn't find the player's name, it's difficult for me to look for information, but I remember that a player injured his wrist and you even said that he might not return if the Mets made it to the Playoffs.

Well it isnt the Mets fault all of baseball ranked him #1.
Actually their system isnt that bad. They have Harvey, Matz, and Familia. Couple that with Murphy, Conforto, and Pete, you are looking at a number of ASGs.
Easy to focus upon the superstars coming out of an organization but that doesnt happen often. And when it does, a lot of times they end up falling off a cliff.
The Alderson years were flawed in the 2-10 rounds. Not a lot of hits there. That is my one gripe with his drafting team.

Without a doubt although I will wait a while before putting in the HOF. LOL
But he has the poise to be a big star. We will see how he advances as the league adjusts. That will have to wait until next year.

In not so surprising move but disappointing nevertheless Senga reported tightness in his tricep after making a rehab start with Triple-A Syracuse Saturday night. He hasn’t pitched all season for the Mets but may be available if the Mets make the playoffs.

Mets win again. Three out of four against the Phillies and they continue to hold the third Wild Card spot with six regular season games to go. They now go into Atlanta who are two games behind the Mets, so to say that is a crucial series is an understatement. The Braves have put the dagger in the Mets for many years. Will the Mets finally turn the corner and win at least two out of three and leave Atlanta still ahead. We'll see. Let's Go Mets!

It’s the type of victory that solidifies a true winning team. Can’t blowout every team especially the Phillies, so winning three out of four in the series was a huge achievement for this team. Let’s Go Mets!

Well the NFC east is a dumpster dive other than the Eagles. So there are victories to be had which means ending up with a 10-15 pick likely.

Edwin Díaz Continues String Of Terrific Play With Four-Out Save
Edwin Díaz was relied upon for the four biggest outs of the New York Mets’ season on Saturday. Díaz entered the game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a two-run lead and got the final four outs of the ball game. With the victory, the Mets and Díaz hold onto a two-game lead over the Atlanta Braves in the National League wild card race.
Díaz has largely had an up-and-down season. In his first season back since knee surgery, which wiped out his 2023 season, he entered Sunday’s game with a 3.49 ERA and six blown saves. Interestingly enough, all the underlying metrics still paint Díaz as an elite pitcher.

On the season, his xBA, whiff rate, strikeout rate, and hard hit rate, among other important analytics, are all above the league’s 90th percentile. This has culminated in an xERA, FIP, and xFIP all being well under his 3.49 season ERA. Basically, Díaz has been a victim of some bad luck throughout the season.
Well, on Saturday, none of this bad luck came to bite him. Díaz entered in the eighth inning with the game’s tying run in the batter’s box. He got behind left-handed slugger Kyle Schwarber in the count, 3-1, before getting Schwarber to swing and miss at a slider to make the count full. Díaz then executed a perfect 3-2 fastball at 99 mph on the corner that stranded the runner at second and preserved the Mets’ two-run lead into the ninth.
Díaz got an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Mets extended the lead to three. That insurance run did not matter as he sat down the heart of the Phillies’ lineup, Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, and Alec Bohm, in order. In doing so, he captured his 19th save of the season while cementing, arguably, the Mets’ biggest win to date.
The previously discussed bad luck has stayed away from Díaz for a while now, as his results have been much closer to not only his expected numbers we outlined above, but like the pitcher Mets fans and the organization has grown used to seeing. Over his last 12 games, Díaz has tossed 11 1/3 innings, allowing only five hits and one run to go along with a single walk and a staggering 21 strikeouts.
With all that said, despite the bumps in the road at points, Díaz has been at his best when the Mets have needed him most while in the thick of a playoff race. There will surely be a few more big moments for the Mets’ closer this season. With those, hopefully he will be up to the task, and look as he has the last couple of weeks.

Os gols foram marcados no segundo tempo pelas atacantes Jaque Ribeiro e Carol Nogueira. O Timão é o maior campeão da história do torneio, com seis títulos: 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 e 2024. No ano passado, superou a Ferroviária na final.

Maior medalhista olímpica da história do Brasil, Rebeca Andrade conquistou o ouro nas barras assimétricas no Campeonato Brasileiro de Ginástica Artística, neste domingo (22), em João Pessoa.
A ginasta atingiu a nota de 14.500 neste domingo. Na classificação, no sábado (21), ela já havia feito uma apresentação segura e conseguiu 14.300, 1.500 acima da segunda colocada.
“É um honra servir de referência para as crianças”, afirmou a ginasta ao SporTV sobre a torcida no ginásio em João Pessoa que a ovacionava em suas apresentações.

Kodai Senga Ruled Out For Regular Season With Tricep Tightness
On Saturday Kodai Senga felt tricep tightness during his rehab outing and is officially done for the remainder of the regular season, as manager Carlos Mendoza announced prior to Sunday’s game. A major blow for the New York Mets who expected Senga to return with the team prior to the conclusion of the regular season.
Senga tossed a scoreless inning for the Mets on Saturday. He pitched for Triple-A Syracuse.
To the Mets’ credit they have received excellent performances from virtually every single starter on the rotation, but Senga has been the number one on the staff ever since he was signed to the team in 2023. It will be up to Sean Manaea, Luis Severino, and David Peterson to finish the season strong in a heated playoff push.
