Can't say without your location. In Thailand, many places pay between 350-450 baht ($12-$15 USD) for a 10-12 hour shift. This is considered a livable income. $50 may be either pitiful or a plethora.

Oh, ($12-$15) is kinda low.. isn't?
It depends on inflation... Right now my cost is living is twice more than salary I'm being offered.
Travel expense or bills and room rent all alone is like $40-$50. 😬
I pay slightly more on the farm, but there are social constraints that also determine pay. Pay too much, the rice farmer next door looses their help, and so forth. It's a difficult juggling act to balance income with costs for sure.
