Yesterday a new tool was released by @holoz0r called the Report card and is a stats driven tool covering your entire account history with regard to everything posting. We often forget, but many in our Hive community who we engage with daily are developers and have the ability to create tools like this making our life easier and more enjoyable.
I think this is fantastic as this tool covers your entire account from day one and mine is 5 months short of 8 years so this can help you understand more things regarding your posts whether it is length of post, ease of readability which I will get onto shortly or engagement. Consistency is the key to growth on Hive and in my case I had a 637 day streak of remaining active. I am not sure what caused the break so either it was a hard fork ,medical emergency or no electricity. These are circumstances out of your control and that is life in general when things do not go as planned.
The longest inactive period was right at the beginning which was 15 days as I was unsure what I had signed up to not knowing what Hive was. I was one of the few that stumbled upon Hive by chance and in all honesty it made no sense that one could earn crypto from writing articles and curation from upvoting. Hive is just that far out there and takes time to contemplate what Hive is and how it all works. I think we are always learning on Hive and I would estimate it took me close to 12 months to be comfortable with the understandings and workings of Hive.
I am no writer or never thought I was one yet the 5200 posts published will tell me otherwise. Every post that I have written has been a free write even if some have taken days of research. This allows me to write as I speak and in many ways helps dumb the topic down to my level making myself understand things better. I had never categorized my writing to a specific grading and having this as a tool I find interesting which one can monitor.
The idea of writing on various topics that interest you helps you learn more about those topics and you become more rounded with the knowledge you hold. In many ways you can become a specialist in certain fields just through the research and writings you do.
Since day one where I was not confident to even contemplate writing articles is that you sometimes have to try something that does not fit into your comfort zones. These days I use posts to help problem solve trying to find a solution whether it is for business or something personal. This is also therapeutic as you go into a relaxed zone that for some reason helps you find more clarity and more often than not the article gives you all the answers you were seeking. This is my special own time that I zone into bringing my real world into the online world and it works.
For myself Hive is far more than just a blockchain that offers rewards through activity and is more about the enjoyment it offers through meeting others in the community through sharing thoughts and ideas. I read the majority of posts I curate even if I do not comment which I know is where I can and should improve. We can always do better and do more and knowing and understand these are areas we should be looking at improving. Having stats like this Report Card which is very different from all the other Hive tools should help us all in areas we had little knowledge before.

What kind of tool would you like to see? Here is an example of something I am working on... You can see the chart of some of the most rewarded authors and their readability for example :)
To be honest I am not 100% sure what type of tool is needed and the readability is something new that I never even considered. I just thought that writing as you speak does help as not everyone on Hive has English as their first language. We are here to enjoy ourselves and to engage with others from all walks of life whether they are higher or lower educated it should make no difference. I do like your format here and know you are talented in what you could create. You are still new learning Hive and you possibly can see what is lacking more so than others who have been here for years.
