that means there must be a demand for it. people probably use it as stuffing for many things and probably have other uses for the offcuts.
Most of it strangely enough is exported so the value is far higher as they are prepared to pay for shipping containers etc. That is an extra $6.5K over the purchase price for roughly 15 tons.
