Good for him and hope it works out. Job hopping I have seen happen way too often and it is all about money thinking they are better than they actually are. I have known so many bull shitters who couldn't handle their current job yet thought worthy of a promotion elsewhere. Experience wins all the time and having a reputation to back it up will always come out on top. Funny how someone always knows someone else who knows someone who can give them the right intel. Business is a small world and people know everyone working in that category and there is nowhere to hide.

Often in Finland, this is what people do to get a raised - move. In my opinion, good people should be incentivized to stay, as it is cheaper in the longrun. However, "good" is more than their task list.
