His Review was a shocker which should come as no surprise to the Hive community as we all know Jerry is a basket case. I would give Jerry a -5 out of 10 for effort as there was none involved.
Today I couldn't believe who turned up on my COTI twitter feed today yes the one and only Jerry Banfield. The legendary nutcase who the Hive community managed to get rid of a few years back. He somehow seems to find a way of just popping up and not in a good way either.
He is running an altcoin university whatever that means for $9 a month. He says he is an experienced crypto investor being involved in crypto for over 9 years. We all know how crazy this guy is for a number of reasons which we all experienced firsthand. He is in this for the money and knows very little about crypto which is clearly obvious once you compare your knowledge of your investment to what he did as a review.
COTI is one project I know everything about and if you are going to do a review at least have the decency to do some research especially as you are trying to sell yourself off as a crypto expert. I have spent over 2 years researching COTI staying up to date and what this guy palmed off as a review is actually rather embarrassing.
I listened to his video and took what he said with a pinch of salt as what he knows and values in crypto is dangerous. With him giving COTI a 3 stars out of 5 is a thumbs up for me and gives me even more confidence in this project.
Some of his points he raised I could have found out within 30 minutes which is probably the amount of time he spent researching COTI. He is definitely no influencer and is not going to affect the price of any crypto he reviews. He is just like a bad smell who hangs around for far too long.
The 'honest' reviews is a good idea but you are trying to get through these too quickly and it results in sloppy research. You make some good points, but clearly you don't understand the project on a number of points, even as basic as what the company actually does, vs what you think it should do regarding CBDCs. You didn't even observe any of the team's vids cuz if you did you would at least know how to pronounce COTI and Djed. In the words of Joey Swoll - 'You need to do better'
He says the overall energy of the COTI project is not looking that good to him which is a proper thumbs up as he doesn't understand COTI's use cases. For him to question why COTI launched the stablecoin DJED on Cardano sums it up as he has no idea the service fees flow back to COTI boosting the APR. COTI is a service provider and he didn't even get to that part so what is he researching?
He briefly mentions th staking in the treasury and admits he finds it hard to understand which again shows how much research has gone into this review. He highlights people complaining which was the grace period that was being removed for liquidations which is actually a good thing for investors. The 1 hour grace period was unfair for those on less APR as the high risk takers on the 8 x APR were basically being warned and could save their stake before being liquidated. This changes on the 14th August making the earnings far more fair with instant liquidations and no grace period.
The idiot then moves away from the actual project discussing the number of social media followers COTI has and the impressions they create. This only highlights agian how shallow this guy really is and a complete fraud that needs to be avoided at all costs as the video I watched wasted 13 minutes I can never get back.

Very on brand that Hive had someone who genuinely makes money from his content and 'drove him away'.
The problem is the content more than anything else. When he was on Steem he did attract lots of people to join but for all the wrong reasons selling them the idea of easy money.
The way you have told all the things about this person, no one can even think of trusting again.
