As the project is one of the projects that I like, despite only having a few hundred ALIVE, I decided to create a weekly report where we can follow the evolution of the token's tokenomics.

Why weekly and not daily?
Because I think a daily post about this, it will be like spam.

Since this is the first week that I collect all the data, there is not too much to talk about. However, next week we will be able to do some comparisons with the previous week.
What data would you like to see more of in this weekly report?
I already have the idea of adding data on inflation between weeks and also putting data on increases for each field on a weekly basis.
Hi there, it is great to hear that you like ALIVE, and also want to make a weekly report about it, something is not right with your data though, there is 1622833.9177 ALIVE tokens staked by a total of 6709 accounts, and I got this data with a script linked below directly from the blockchain.

A possible explanation to why the data is off for you might be if you did not count "delegationsOut" and "pendingUndelegations" as those are not included in the "stake" value from the hive-engine API, but the total owned stake of any account is a sum of all those 3 values.

I changed my script to get pendingUnstake, delegationsOut and stake to calculate the total staked. However, I continue to have a difference between the values displayed on https://www.wearealiveand.social/ and mine.
I have a total stake 1049936.2603 and the site is displaying 1,624,337.67.
Then you are most likely using the get_holder() function which has a limit of 1000, https://hiveengine.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hiveengine.tokenobject.html#hiveengine.tokenobject.Token.get_holder
You need to be using the find_all() function from the API module instead to get all stakeholders, there is over 6000 of them, https://hiveengine.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hiveengine.api.html#hiveengine.api.Api.find_all

I was using the find() function, and I was not able to identify the difference between find() and find_all() since find_all uses the find function

find_all() has a while loop that loads 1000 more rows from find() until there is no more results to load, that is how it gets all rows and not just 1000.
The way it works is that all the rows of the data is divided into sections of 1000 rows in each, and what section to load is defined by the offset, and in the while loop it increases the offset by 1 every time that it runs the loop, and stops when there is no more sections to load.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.
I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.

For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I'll also add that I power up Hive every day and usually power up larger amounts on 1st of the Month. I'm on Hive for ideological reasons much more than for only economic benefit.
