I once calculated our rough spending for the whole family from when I was born, up until then, (that was more than 10 years ago, so let's say these are 20 years worth of expenses,) it was waaaaay below 1 Million LYD, which is roughly just above $200K USD at the time.
Imagine, $200K over the course of 20 years!! For the WHOLE Family!!!!
I didn't count surprise expenses like big medical expenses or the two times my father bought a car, as well as any expenses I forgot to count, but I was very generous with the things I did count so I'd consider the number very close to that!
